What Causes Nausea, Lack Of Appetite And Vomiting?

my son has had nausea and vomiting since yesterday, headache, no fever, no appetite, had a rash on bilateral lower extremities at his ankles witch appeared to be chiggers, but not on closer inspection they look like turkey ticks. Could the turkey ticks be what is causing his nausea and vomiting or are they unrelated.
