What Causes Nausea, Loss Of Appetite And Hand Tremors?

hi, an in-law has lost 36 lbs., suffers from nausea, loss of appetite which in turn have resulted in dramatic weight loss, fatigue, hand tremors, loss of strength (can t stand up for more than a few minutes), difficulty focusing. He currently a patient at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. They can t find out what s wrong, and are reluctant to try. Any experience with anything like this? Thanks.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Though age is not given here the symptoms could be age related. It seems to be some kind of endocrine dysfunction. Liver pathology is very likely beside this any systemic disease or infection may have the same kind of symptoms. If this is not the disease condition according to hospital as they have found nothing then it could be psychological problem.
