What Causes Nausea, Stomach Pain And Gastrointestinal Upset?

I am a 27 year old female, I weigh about 170 and am 5 11.5 in great shape. Recently I have been experiencing random bouts of nausea - usually in the morning, and they subside, but the last couple of days they have been happening throughout the day. There hasn t been any vomiting, but I have also had a bit of GI upset as well as stomach pains. I don t have much of an appetite and have stuck to light foods, such as saltine crackers, bananas and lots of fluids. It has been worse the last two days and I think it may be some kind of flu/bug, but the nausea has been happening off and on for about the last 6 weeks or so.

Hi,i can understand your problem.Early morning nausea with stomach pain could be due to gastritis.A lot of acid get accumulated in stomach at night which can cause nausea in morning. I use to advise PPI like pantoparazole 40mg in morning empty stomach and H-2 blocker like ranitidine at bed time to my patients. Avoid fatty food and alcohol.
Thanks
