What Causes Nausea, Vomiting And Indigestion While On Finasteride And Minoxidil?

hello doctor ,,,actual i am taking finasteride and minoxidil 5 % together and i am very much satisfied with results ,but the problem is after around 3 months i am feeling nausea ,omitting at morning time ....digestion problem ....could you please tell me why this is happening ???

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Note the history of taking finasteride and minoxidil 5 % together with good results but getting nausea, vomiting at morning for the last 3 months, there is digestion problem, wants to know the reasons.
The causes of nausea and vomiting in the morning can be due to gastrointestinal problems mostly due o gastritis and/or duodenitis. Since you are on empty stomach in the morning, the acid production, retention and hence its side effects can be more so in the morning:
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Take PPI like omeprazole.
Antacid every three hours.
Soft bland diet.
If there is no result on these go for an opinion of Gastroenterologist and upper GI Endoscopy along with other tests and medications to get well.
