What Causes Nausea, Vomiting In A Child While On Medication For ADHD?

For the past 2 mornings, my 10 year old son has been nauseated/vomited in the morning. Shortly after, he felt better and was fine for the remainder of the day. He is on 25 mg of Strattera for ADHD, and he was off his schedule a bit with it being a weekend and also missed a dose the day before these symptoms occured. He has also had some major growth spurts and his brother went through something similar before starting to go through puberty. Sorry for so much info, but not sure what is or isn't relevant. Thank you!

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, Thanks for asking. In my opinion your son's being nauseated is not related with the ADHD medication as nausea is not a known side effect of it. It is possibel that he may have viral or food induced stomach upset. Hopefully he will feel better within next few days.
