What Causes Nausea, Vomiting, Urinary Incontinence And Fever?

I took my husband to the ER yesterday with a probable TIA. He could barely shuffle out of ER, so we put him in wheel chair and brought him home. This pm he is still not drinking very much because of nausea and trying to vomit--was incontinent last night while sleeping and again this afternoon. I think he s running a fever (had a fever of 101.4 when we arrived at ER). Do I need to take him back to ER? He s able to talk to me, but he s now using a walker (before yesterday he could walk 2 miles). EKG, Brain CT showed no signs of a stroke.

Hello,

The possibility of he may be suffering from Gillian Barre syndrome or viral myelitis or cerebral malaria or meningitis. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Get it blood investigations and CSF analysis. Malaria or tuberculosis etc. Use tablet Paracetamol thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
