What Causes Nausea While On Hydromorphone?

My husband has been snorting 9mg of hydromorphone every morning, plus an additional 9mg at lunch for at least 6 months now. (prescription is PO...of coarse) thursday, he just began a new prescription for 30mg duloxetine PO . He has been experiencing nausea causing him to be bed-ridden since Friday. Help

* This is due to drug induced gastritis .

* Allow him to take cap.omeprazole ( 20 ) mg morning and evening with
sips of water on empty stomach for better recovery .

- Avoid oily , spicy , non veg stuffs .
