Hello,

Irritable bowel syndrome characterized by repeated episodes of stomach pain, and bloating and which is relieved by passing stools. So you need to avoid spicy food and alcohol too. Avoid caffeinated drinks.

Avoid dairy products and gluten-containing food. Use tablet Normaxin twice a day for five days. If it is associated with infection, then you may need to use antibiotics. If symptoms not improved, please get stool examination and colonoscopy. Consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
