Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 24 yr old and otherwise healthy female. I have been vomitting for the past week. I am not pregnant. For the first 4 days I was only able to keep fluids down. For the past 3 days I have been able to eat small portions of foods my stomach can take, but it is very little. There has been no fever and it's made worse by movement. Slight pressure on the stomach sometimes reduces the nausea. I tried taking hot and cold baths. The hot makes me sick and the cool causes me to shiver way too much. I have taken zofran and it works sometimes but even by taking the medicine by the recommended dosage I still have bits of nausea. I don't feel like I am to the point where I need to go to the hospital I am just tired of being sick. What could be wrong with me?
