What Causes Needle Pain In Tummy After Eating?

hi doctor my name ia Maritsa. After i i am done eating my i get needle pains in my tummy. Last i went to see a doctor, but the pain was so severe and they book me in hospital. They did a cat scan, everthing looks fine. Doctor discover i got a break behind my belly. Could that maybe be the reason for the needle pains. I recently had a miscarraige about two months ago. Could this maybe causes it? Mny thanks

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of needle pain in the stomach after taking food. Since CT scan has been done and they found a break behind your belly button, it is necessary to know whether this is the cause of pain or not.
You should again get a clinical examination to make sure that the findings of the CT scan and the clinical examination match.
With your history I would advise you to have upper GI Endoscopy as the pain is coming on eating something.
Miscarriage 2 months ago may not be the reason unless this was surgically causing uterine perforation and peritonitis giving intestinal obstruction causing pain after food.
Plain X-ray abdomen in standing position sometimes gives better diagnosis as it can show multiple air-fluid levels and give the probable diagnosis.
