What Causes Night Sweats After Receiving A Steroid Injection?

My husband recently received a steroid injection in his shoulder for a torn rotator cuff. Since then he has been having night sweats, slight weight loss of 7-8 pounds and decreased appetite. Could this be a reaction to the injection? He also had a cardiac stent placed in April and is on blood pressure meds, brilinta, lopid, Crestor and uloric

Hi,

Hot flashes and night sweats can be side effects of the steroid injections. The symptoms will go away on its own in a few days. Meanwhile cool showers can help relieving the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
