What Causes Nose Bleeding Along With Headaches And Dizziness?

I woke up to a severe nosebleed coming out of both nostrils and it bled for a full hour. I still have a headache now and I was and am still faint, dizzy. While my nose was bleeding I experienced a lot of blood in the back of my throat even as I was leaning forward. I also felt very nauseous.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, my name is Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi.
I understand your concern.
Your symptoms can be related to many causes.
Nosebleeds occur due to burst or broken blood vessels in the nose. Having a headache and a nosebleed can be a sign of
- a minor issue, such as hay fever
- anemia,
- low red blood cell count.
I suggest you to do a blood test to rule out any cause.
Hope it helps.
Kind regards!
