What Causes Numb Feeling In The Back Of The Hands?

The tops of my feet have been numb for 15 hours and I think its getting worse. I also feel slight numbness on the back of my hands. otherwise I feel fine. I ve been abnormally thirsty for the past year, but I think I m too young and thin to have diabetes. Many thanks.
