What Causes Numbness And Pain In Wrist,thumb And Arms?

I believe I might have microscopic polyangitis. My wrist, thumb, and arm is numb, yet painful. I have lost strength in the same area, and also am experiencing pain. I have red sliver looking specs under my nails on the same hand... Any advice or ideas about this info

It could be due to peripheral neuropathy.

Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. Detailed evaluation is required including nerve conduction study.
