I had a mild Electric shock, caught a live wire! My left shoulder and arm were left numb and tingling for the better part of the day, though movement has returned to my upper arm and fingers, I have difficulty in raising my shoulder beyond a point. I am 69 yrs old weigh 70-72Kg and am Indian. Have no medical history other than hyper thyroidism

Hi,

It might take some more time for that also to get to normal. Mean while, Physiotherapy might help you in this condition. Hypothyroidism has nothing to do with this problem.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Phanindra Dulipala
