What Causes Numbness In Arm And Metallic Taste In Mouth?
yes my husband is having numbness in his left arm and a metallic taste in his mouth. Right after with in 15 minutes of the above symptoms he starting getting a headache, is this something that he should go to the ER for or just call his doctor and make an appointment with them? He is also a diabetic type 2
Understanding your concern. As per your query your symptoms such as numbness in arm and metallic taste in mouth are indicative of low blood sugar level in your body i.e it could be due to diabetes. Severe acute sinus infection along with low blood glucose level in your body causing these symptoms. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit general practitioner once and get your HbA1c levels checked and go for testing of random and fasting blood glucose and start treatment accordingly. Keep brushing twice daily and use Listerine mouth wash. Do flossing twice a week at least. You should maintain complete oral hygiene.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
