What Causes Numbness In Back After Lithotripsy?

A few.wks after lithotripsy, I noticed that same side of my back is now numb. Like the wearing off of novacain. It's straight down moddle of spine, to the right, over entire kidney area. It's now been over yr, n semsation nev returned. Could the lithotripsy be responsible?
