What Causes Numbness In Hand?

I have a headache, though I m unsure if it s associated. I was diagnosed with mononucleosis via a blood test 3 weeks ago. I also actively have a sinus infection. I m just concerned because I just had this numbness in my hand that s lasted for about 10 minuets. It started in my pinky finger, then traveled to each finger. One after the other, and after it moves to the next finger, I get feeling again in the previous. It s gone from my pinky to my thumb, and my thumb s numbness is currently going down. I also had a light indigestion like feeling briefly.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

I have studied your case.
Due to compression of this nerve root there can be tingling numbness in your arm and pain.
I will advise you to MRI cervical spine for better diagnosis.

If you can take trinerve forte consulting your doctor then it will be more helpful.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
