I ve been having this leg numbness. it mostly happens when i m sleeping and it keeps me up at night. the numbness/ tingling is in both legs and starts in the calf, going down to my feet. it happened two weeks ago and again yesterday. these are the only two incidents. i am on birth control. could it be from that or from some sort of nerve problem?

Hello,

Since you had these episodes only twice there is nothing to be worried about. But if the symptoms recur then detailed evaluation to assess blood flow to legs, rule out peripheral neuropathy should be done.
You can also take banana every day to make sure adequate potassium intake.

Hope this answers your question
