What Causes Numbness In The Arm?

Hello My name is Anna and i have a very important question. My arm has been feeling very numb for the past month. My arm wakes me up in the middle of the night. Not sure what the issue is. My arm is numb daily, not from waking up. I do smoke and is 34 year of age. Its basically numbness and weakness, I honestly feel horrible. My family is worried.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to healhcaremagic. After going through your query I concluded that you can be suffering from cervical spondylitis. You have to get your x-ray done to confirm it.I empirically treat such patients coming to me by Diacerine, glucosamine and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief.Mecobalamin can be useful to reduce neurogenic pain. You can also investigate it further by MRI neck to see compression of nerves in cervical spine.Hope your query get answered. If you have additional questions and follow up queries then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you. Wishing you a good health. Take care.
