What Causes Numbness In The Buttock And Left Leg?

Hi, I was hit by a car 3 weeks ago. My butt goes numb, and my left leg feels like it going to sleep. My Doctor is working on that. My question is why do I feel nauseous with constant head ache, sometime severe. Now a new symptom, my ears started ringing really bad. Any ideas. I don t have a neck injury .

Hello,

I think you have both, a spine problem (in view of the leg symptoms) and a brain problem (in view of the headache, nausea and tinnitus-the ear problem).

I think you should be taken up for MRI of the brain and spine. The former may show some contusions in the brain as a result of coup countercoup injury. The latter may show a nerve root compression.

Unfortunately, Treatment cannot be suggested without knowing the reports. So, do let us know the reports for further suggestions.
