Hi,

As there is numbness over the foot I think there will be a nerve entrapment at the L5-S1 level in the lumbar spine and needs an MRI. Since the individual nerve has its own dermatomes and myotomes to supply and work, this pathology might be leading to symptoms.

Doing core stability exercise, spinal muscle Strengthening exercises, hip muscle strengthening exercises, static quadriceps, static hamstring, straight leg raise and ankle toe movements should help improve the overall strength in the muscular system leading to stabilization of the spina and avoiding the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
