Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Numbness In The Toes And Itchy Sores In The Leg?
My feet and ankles swell and I have lately noticed that I have these sores on my legs that itch and weep a clear fluid. I have also been getting dizzy and lightheaded. I have some leg pain by my knees and thighs. Some numbness in my toes. Any idea what all these symptoms could point to?
As due to pain in the knee there will be postural changes in the lumbosacral spine leading to nerve root entrapment and the numbness of the toes.
I will advice to do first correct the posture, next follow the exercises like - core stability, hip muscle strengthening, static hamstring, static Quadriceps, straight leg raise and ankle toe movements.
By this the posture will be good , sufficient strength in muscles to be strong to hold the body, improve gait and reduce the pain symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
