What Causes Numbness On Fingers To Arms After Biting By A Dog?

good afternoon i have been bitten by a dog yesterday i was giving him food when he accidentally bite my finger, there s no blood but only scratch...it hurts at first but it slowly subside and now i felt numbness on my fingers to my arms is it bad?should i go to a doctor right away?

Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of a pinched nerve or damaged nerve due to the bite. For this reason, I recommend going to the ER for a physical exam and performing nerve conduction studies, coupled with some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR).
