What Causes Numbness On Left Side Of The Ribs?

I have numbness in my side. It s just under the far left side of my ribs. It feels like it is in the fatty tissue? And when compared to the right side of my body I notice a difference. The left side just under the skin kind of bulges ? It is not constant with the numb feeling, but has been there for a little over a week? Thanks for any help.

Numbness usually means that your nerves are involved. How big is the area involved. Are there any white spots on your body. You need to get investigated by your physician as this could be local cause or even leprosy.
