Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi Stacy, your problems are from a a nerve which has got pinched at the elbow mostly as a result of your occupation which made you do repetitive bending of the elbow. this nerve called the ulnar nerve as at the outer side of the elbow and when stretched or pinched can cause the above symptoms. This calls for nerve conduction and EMG studies.
Also to be ruled out is nerve affection at the neck.
you will have to modify your activity by avoiding excessive bending of the elbow and by using pads or supports at night.
Surgery can be sought later.this will be decompressing the nerve by releasing the tunnel or changing the position of its path.
