Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am always cold and I don t know why. It has to be near 85 degrees for me to feel comfortable in or outside without a jacket. Many times my hands and feet are ice cold to the touch as they are the only part of my body not always completely covered. I have a history of Graves disease and get my hormone levels checked regularly. They are normal. I also do not have anemia. What could be causing this?
It seems that people have a natural tendency towards preferring either the cold or the hot temperatures. It may simply be that you prefer warmer temperatures.
Having said that, I'd also ask what are your height and weight. Could you be underweight, so hence not much body fat to keep you warm?
Do you also dress up appropriately or always tend to go out underdressed, so feel cold?
Hope this helps!
