What Causes Oozing Holes In Tailbone?

Hi, I have 2 smal pin holes on my Tailbone that occasionally give a discharge...It doesnt hurt nor is their swelling anything there...no redness either. I went to a walk in clinic and i told the doc it doesnt bother me and that it looks pretty clean except with 2 holes...He gave me Antibiotics to heal and told me to Take baths with epsom salt and it will get better. What do you think?..can i live with this? will it go away?..it doesnt effect me..

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a pilonidal sinus. Consult a general surgeon and get evaluated. Surgical excision will be treatment of choice.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
