What Causes Pain And Bleeding From Ear After Coming From Swimming?

my daughter is 9yrs old. she went swimming on monday with the school and water started to come out of her ear with a little bit of blood. today the blood is a little bit darker. she was also complaining of pain in her ear. could u please tell me what this could be and what steps i should take.

Suppurative otitis media with effusion

Explanation,
1. The symptoms which you mentioned is similar to suppurative otitis media with effusion which may be acute or chronic - acute in this case
2. This is nothing but the bacterial infection of the middle ear.
3. In this disease there may be perforation of the tympanic membrane which can be seen by otoscopy
4. The treatment include antibacterial medications like ciplox ear drops for 10-15 days 3 times daily
5. If not treated for above ear drops then switch to the oral syrup or tablets based on the child
