What Causes Pain And Blood Red Scratch Under Skin On Butt?

I fell on my buttcheek last night down a stair and landed really hard, there s no bruise but a blood red scratch under the skin becuase the skin isn t broken it hurts pretty bad and i was hoping you could tell me if there s anything serious i could have broken or if the pain should subside....

Hi.
As per your case history of scratch on butt skin, my treatment advice is -
1. Apply ice on the affected part twice daily.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
