Hello,

Cause of pain, burning after urination is urinary tract infection giving pH alterations of the urine making it more acidic, irritation of nerve endings, and cystitis with thickening of the bladder wall. Worsening after consumption of alcohol is related to alcohol-induced dehydration with again making urine more acidic.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
