Pain and burning sensation during urination may indicate urinary tract infection(UTI).
You need proper clinical examination and routine investigations. Investigations include routine hemogram, random blood sugar, renal function test, ultrasound of abdomen, urine RE/ME and culture/sensitivity. Nitrite and leukocyte esterase test can be done for confirmation of UTI.
You may need to take full course of antibiotics based on culture and sensitivity report. You should drink plenty of water. I also suggest alkalizing syrup to my patients.
