What Causes Pain And Clicking Sensation In Hip Joint?

Hi, I have noticed recently that just before my period my right hip gets very painful and also clicks a lot especially when I stand up or am in bed! My back also aches down the right side but my hip is the worst. I am 20yo, is this something my period might cause? Do I need to see my GP?
