Hello,

Burning, Stinging, or skin Irritation can be caused by too much pressure on the skin or by a wet cast. To ensure that your bone continues healing properly, call your orthopedist to schedule a splint or cast change. Meanwhile,I suggest using painkillers such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
