For years when I ve knelt on my right knee it felt like I was kneeling on a sharp rock just below the knee cap in the tendon area. Now recently it feels like the tendons are pulling or tearing in that area when I bring my leg up with the heal to my buttocks. Also just slight pain when climbing stairs. Dave T
Meniscus injury can be managed by arthroscopic repair,and same day you can go home. As per your symptoms you need to do physiotherapy and knee exercises to improve range of motion . If pain persist then you may need to do MRI to see for any functional defect.
small meniscus tear can be managed conservatively with physiotherapy with USG and TENS.
