Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
L5s1 fusion was done for spondylolysis . Fusion was done with pedicle screws as per your history. Now fusion should be complete within 3 months post surgery and pain should completely disappear with solid fusion of l5s1 vertebra. So I think your pain might be due to incomplete fusion or inflammation around hardware. I would advise Xray of lumbosacral spine anteroposterior and lateral views to assess status of fusion. If report is showing non fusion you should visit your operating surgeon. If conclusion cannot be driven after Xray then ct scan of lumbosacral spine with 3D reconstruction is advised. If there is proper fusion then chances of infection is there. Visit expert spine surgeon nearby you and get yourself examined.
