What Causes Pain And Numbness In Neck And Arm After A Fall?

my friend who is 50 was getting on his inversion table and it didn't click or something and it caused him to land on his head and neck. he passed out. now he has extreme upper shoulder pain and numbness in his left arm. Is this just a pinched nerve or it this something that he needs to see the doctor for.

Hello,

I have studied your case.
Due to compression of nerve root there can be pain.
Also there can be large disc bulge which is compressing over spinal cord.

For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started.
Till time, avoid lifting weights. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give you relief.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
