Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
The toe next to my pinkie on my left foot goes numb and tingles and even hurts sometimes. I wear flats all the times. It seems to happen more with enclosed shoes like tennis shoes - even if they are worn loosely, It goes away if I massage my feet.
Hello, Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you want to know cause of your left toe numbness. You should rule out diabetes ,so check your fasting and 2 hours after meal blood sugar check to rule out diabetes.Another cause can be vitamin B-12 deficiency,so you checked your vitamin B-12 serum level.Another local cause is Morten's metatarsalgia, it is excluded by sonography of foot .I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care.
