What Causes Pain And Soreness On The Right Side Of The Hip?

My husband has been having pain on his right side above hip but it doesn't feel like a pulled muscle. When the pain is present , it is a burning sensation; it started a couple days ago. We do not have primary doctors yet , we recently moved to Indiana & I need to set that up

Hi,

Having pain on the right (above the hip) might be related to:
- bowel problems (constipation)
- urinary tract infection/stone
- genital problems
- possible pulled muscle if he has lifted heavy weights

I suggest to give him painkillers and to consult a physician as soon as possible.
