Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Pain And Soreness On The Right Side Of The Hip?
My husband has been having pain on his right side above hip but it doesn't feel like a pulled muscle. When the pain is present , it is a burning sensation; it started a couple days ago. We do not have primary doctors yet , we recently moved to Indiana & I need to set that up
Having pain on the right (above the hip) might be related to: - bowel problems (constipation) - urinary tract infection/stone - genital problems - possible pulled muscle if he has lifted heavy weights
I suggest to give him painkillers and to consult a physician as soon as possible.
