What Causes Pain And Stiffness Around The Ankles, Legs And Knees?

I am a female of 67 yr. Lately I have been having pain, stiffness around both ankles and up both sidesand front of legs to just below my knees. I do suffer from restless leg and take clonazepam (2 mg tab) for it. I have had shin splints before but this is different. I am not obese tho I could lose a few pounds, let s get back on track. Do you have and answers for me. I m sorry I have wasted your time. I thought this was a free site. Diana

I really appreciate your concern, I could say that it seems to be fibromyalgia what the little history given here could be suggestive of this, it is the functional kind of disorders, better not to take "Clonazepam" instead try to come out of the stress hope this information helps.
