What Causes Pain And Stiffness In The Neck?

I m in such pain, neck stiff, knots large, shoulders, shoulder blades knots behind them, all the way down large tube like mussel middle back right side above hips so tender, both his and butt, down legs foot crops that bend toes arches hur terrible, and no one understands I look ver healthy, and I am strong through it with only over the counter meds sometimes, feel like almost crying most times and try and laugh and keep humor but it seems to be getting worse, and I feel lost and lonley, is there help for me

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain and stiffness in the neck. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case it seems to be occur due to acid reflux , cervical spondylosis , muscle spasm , sore throat or bruxism. Apply warm compresses on neck and do warm saline gargles. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may take history and order endoscopy , blood test , x-ray of upper respiratory track . Doctor may prescribeantibiotics , anti inflammatory or may refer you to cardiologist in case of angina . For now avoid eating spicy , acidic and heavy meal .
