My calf muscles were very tight a few weeks ago. It got very painful and I was limping badly then, after an audible pop behind my knee, the tightness gradually went completely away. I ve been stretching the calf muscles but it seems to be tightening again. Any ideas?
tightness in calf muscle could be due to muscle fatigue or knee pain or deep vein thrombosis. if pain is severe deep seated n increase on passive motion think about DVT. get color doppler done. if lnee pain is there start with physiotherapy. stretch your muscles wisely, not excessively. take NSAIDS for pain relief and topical gel application. start vit e 400 mg twice a day. will give dramatic relieftake care get well soon
