What Causes Pain Around The Kidney Area On The Left Side?

Hello. I m having a moderate sharp pain that I m GUESSING might be related to my left kidney, just a gut-feeling guess. Have no other symptoms other than this pain which has been going on for a couple hours. Doesn t seem severe enough to do anything about, just trying to figure out what it could be and what I should do about it, if not wait it out. It subsides every few minutes, not consistently constant. Seems to feel better when I apply pressure to it or near it.

Dear pain around the renal area may be due to back muscles spasm or renal stone or pyelonephritis or lumbar spondylosis etc..

until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. use tablet. aceclofenac with muscle relaxant twice a day for five days.

Please get it done ultrasound abdomen and urine examination. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
