What Causes Pain At Appendectomy Site?
my appendix had been removed past 5 years with a operation. i was in the observation for 24 hrs due to high fever. Things were all okay after the operation till now. However, I do feel something unusual pain in the appendix area and really need to know if anything wrong inside ? Please give any possible caused. Thank You Very Much

The pain usually common after appendicectomy. How you have undergone surgery? Is it laparoscopic appendicectomy or laparotomy? If it is laparotomy may cause pain at the site, it will take time to recover. Use a pain killer to control pain. Please consult your doctor he will check for other complications of appendectomy, and treat you accordingly.
