What Causes Pain At Back Of The Knee?

I have pain in the back of my knee, left side. Pain is sharp like a bee sting. I was running and I thought I had a bug bite, but I did not. Now the back of my knee is bruised, and it hurts to walk. I m worried about a blood vessel issue. Female, age 26, 160 lb, 5 6

I think you seem to have suffered some injury to the PCL or menisci, so need to get examined by an ortho Surgeon to Rule out the injuries & also to rule out any Bakers cyst in the posterior aspect of your knee joint
