What Causes Pain At The Time Of Passing Stool?

Hello Dr. for last few weeks I am having pain at the time of passing stool and bleeding a few times. Stool is also coming thin then usual. I consulted a doctor and he prescribed cremaffin and creamagel. I am feeling little better now. However Dr. mentioned we should go through an endoscopy to assess the fisher condition. My query is shall we continue with the medication for few more days before taking telescopic endoscopy and look for some surgery. Please suggest. I am on medication for last 2 days.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of having pain at the time of passing stool and bleeding a few times. Stool is coming thinner than usual.
This is suggestive of a fissure and in pain anyway internal examination is not possible.
I would advise you the following:
Get a prescription for an antibiotic as there is a wound that is causing symptoms.
Probiotics.
Continue laxatives.
Sitz bath twice a day.
Full diet without fried things.
Keep away the stress and/ or anxiety.
I am sure this will help you to get the permanent relief.
You can certainly start and continue the medications and get the endoscopy done when there is no pain.
I find this answer helpful
