What Causes Pain/burning In Chest, Wheezing After Having Cortisone Shot?

My healthy 15 year olddaughter went in for a cortisone shot to relieve poison ivy. She immediately felt chest pain and burning in her chest. It lasted for several days although was milder each day. Now when she runs she wheezes. What have they done to her?

I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that this could be side effect of the steroid that your daughter given now it is better to stop this therapy and discus with the doctor for this, in my opinion no need to have any medicine for this, every thing would be fine soon take care and have a nice day.
