What Causes Pain During Bowel Movement And Blood In Stools?

Hi, i am having extreme pain when going for a poo. Other symptoms are itchyness, blood on top of stool and blood on toilet paper (only sometimes) I have had this problem on and off for approx 4-5 months, I went to the doctor Tuesday and he gave me some Proctosedyl cream and panadeine forte, I felt 80% better the day after but then today i am almost back to where i was on the tuesday. If i have a stool motion and then have a shower and let warm water run over my anus, this reliefs the pain very good after a minute or two. Updated : Went to the doctors earlier today and he did a examination, didnt find anything or see anything unusual, said it looks RED and inflammed but thats about it ???

Hello,

You may be suffering from proctitis or haemorrhoids or fissure or fistula in ano. Tight clothing or worm infestation or allergy to soap or cream or spicy food intake may aggravate the problem.

Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week.

Get stool examination is done for ova and cysts. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
