What Causes Pain During Intercourse?

Hi, I am finding sex excrutiating, i ve been with my partner 10 years, we have a 3 yr old daughter. Been having dicomfort for last two years (ish), worst position is missionary, it s immediate on penetration, feels like a blockage , my husband says he can feel something too sometimes. We are both age 30. General good health. It took me two years to conceive. After I had my daughter, my periods were extremely heavy, lots of clots, extreme amounts of blood. I also get sharp twinges, which I think is ovarian pain. I don t use the pill , my Dr wanted me to go on this in case I had endemetriosis, but I have had no referral. Could this have any link to my pain, or just a coincidence.

Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
There may be cyst, endometriosis, or somethung else.
It may be just mentally like you are thinking that intercourse will cause pain and than it becomes very difficult.
This happens to many women after pregnancy.
Please consult your gynecologist and get the ultrasonography done and also do vaginal examination for any other conditions.
Hope this helps.
Take care...
