What Causes Pain During Movements After A Lower Back Injury?

Yesterday I fell down a couple of steps & went to the hospital. I have a sever contusion on my left lower back/buttocks area. I was told to put ice & rest & take Advil or Tylenol. But why do I have this burning pain at times when I move. That s what hurts the most & is almost unbearable when I try to get up. Thank you.

Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to the injury.
I agree with your doctor about the advice.
I recommend using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain.
I also suggest using cold compresses for local application and rest.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
